Rear A/C Blowing Out Diesel Soot

I had a wierd thing happen the other day.....we went on a 300 mile trip, a/c blowing the whole time - when we got to our destination and started unloading our two baby boys, we noticed little black spots on their clothes and even on their faces. I looked around more and noticed black spots on the upholstry too. It was diesel soot - looked like copier toner. Question is, how did it get there? Didn't happen on the way home though - strange.

I'll bet that your condensate drain is stopped up on your rear AC evaporator. The dirty water doesn't have any place to go and it's getting sucked up into the fan. I'd recommend cleaning your condensate drain.

Blowing out soot

Since you mentioned soot, let me ask?
Any one ever cleaned the soot out of the exhaust side.Inter cooler, hoses, turbo, and down pipe?
Is there a technique to it,a spray cleaner,pressure cleaner,etc.

There should be no soot in your IC pipes, and the turbo and down pipe are just fine with the soot that is there...

To the OP, your drain is pluged up like posted above.
