Airbags & Turn Signal
I need to replace the turn signal switch in the column. How do you remove the steering wheel with the airbags in them. Will it go off. Any help is appreciated.

I've replaced my turn signal 3 times now without removing the air bag or the steering wheel. How ever just to be safe I have disconnected the batteries for 5 to 10 minutes before starting.

Did you remove the steering wheel?

No need to remove the steering wheel, the plastic housing around the turn signal unscrews from underneath, also you need to unscrew the lever for the tilt. Just be careful at removing the cover around the flasher button. Once thats off you have two bolts to remove torqs head I believe then the wiring harness. Takes me about 15 to 20 minutes now to switch out.
