HELP! PATS?? Won't Start
I put my autometer gauges in and 1/2 way through fired up my '00 Ex to listen for exhaust leaks on the EGT thermocouple seal. It started then, but an hour later once i pushed the pod up and got ready to start her up to see the trans temp/boost gauge run.......it won't start. My stock dash gauges dont even read that i have fuel, battery charge, or oil pressure....they all stay at zero. It turns over fine, sounds just the same as when it fires up...but still nothing. I installed it with all the same ground locations and wire splices as my buddies f250 which leads me to believe that its the stupid PATS system. Could my Pats system be keeping it from starting now? I used the walk through here
DieselManor and used the same 12v powersupply as suggested for all 7.3L's.... ![]() other then that i added some pwr strng fluid.... can anyone help? |

If pats is stepping in, the theft light will be flashing wicked fast for a minute. I'm not much more help for ya, but at least you'll know if pats is in the way, or if you need to look elsewhere.

Could be, If it was me, undo what you did, and tackle it again on the weekend when you have time to deal with the problems. I'm no mechanic, so I can't provide any more help.

With the lack of gauges, I'd say maybe a fuse. I know one of them controls the computer.

Id check all your fuses
