i have the turn nob 4wd i dont know if i have to manually lock in the hubs. i hope not because i have the mazzi hub covers on it. SO THE QUESTION IS DO ALL THE TURN KNOB 4WD COME IN AUTO LOCKING HUBS.

What year is your rig and when you say stuck - are you really "stuck"?

2000 with a 7.3. i thint it may be the ice. but a GMC surburban is cruzeing around no big deal. and it pulled me out not a good day for a ford man. THey say the front is spinning but nothing is grabbing. and the rear is not posy locking so i am out of ideas

I don't know if they are all auto hubs, but I would bet that your knuckle seals are toast. The auto hubs work off of vacuum and if it ain't sealing it ain't working. So you would have to manually lock them in.

My '01 isn't auto locking...found that out the hard way lol. Glade your out man.

If you have the switch onthe dash then you have auto hubs.You may want to take the vaccum line off the knuckle and see if you have vaccum if you do then the axle seal is bad. if you dont have vaccum the vac motor is bad or avac line is broke. Ive also replaced several lockouts that were bad.

we pulled the center cap off and locked them manually. and got it unstuck and working aswom. and now we are on the slopes yeppieeeeeeeeeeeeee. thanks guys
