It's a good turbo and a considerable improvement over stock, but you may need tuning to realize the gains. One down side, it is noisy from what I have read and it's hard to rebuild. I honestly don't know what a used one is worth, it will depend a lot on the condition. New they are somewhere in the $1200-$1500 range if I remember right. So if its in good shape it seems like a good deal.

x2 on the loudness. In town it didn't bother me, but on the highway it gets kind of obnoxious. Dieselsites ww for it calmed it down a bit though for me. Good turbo for mild upgrades, at 400 its a bargain as long as its in good condition.
