Has anyone de-badged the Excursion?

I would like to do this, however, I am wondering if the emblems have "holes" behind them for alignment etc... Or, if they're just glued?? I would like to remove the "Excursion" emblems on the sides, the "Powerstroke" emblems on the sides, the "Excursion" and the "Limited" emblem from the rear... So, any input on those "holes" in the body would be appreciated.

*sigh*....yes, there are holes. I have an 03 limited and currently have little pieces of electrical tape covering up my holes (luckily given the color of my excursion you can't see that)...I guess I should have asked here first..lol.
