keyless entry

I have a 02 EX that I bought in June, it has the keyless entry but I do not have the code for it. Does anyone know where I can get the default codes for it?

I myself want to know ...but I think the dealer has to put in a new code if we don't know the original.

The code is printed on the keyless entry control module. I am not certain where the module is located in the super-dutys. I know on my old F-150 it was up by the brake pedel.

I have a '00 excursion and there is a default code in theowners manual that resets it...then it goes on as to how you set a personal code...

The dealer can plug into the truck and pull the code for you. If you have a freind in the service department, it maybe free.

I just went up to the dealership, batted my eyelashes, and they plugged it in and gave me the code for free.

To reset your keyless, Turn your ignition switch on the turn it off and on (I was told 8 times but when I reset mine on the 5th turn my locks actuated at that point press your button to unlock and it should set, it took me 2 x's to get it right but it was that simple
