dual tanks?

i got an idea about puting a second tank on my ex today and was wondering if any one has done it before? or seen it before on an ex? any help would be appreciated!
and any pointer would be helpful

How about looking at CNG hybrid conversions if you want longer range? Seems to me that adding a tank would have to fit inside the cabin, so diesel smell would eventually show up and, once there, would last forever. CNG would possibly involve a much smaller tank for the same economy, and any vapor spills would be outside the truck during fillups.

i looked under my ex to day and noticed that theres a big opening space for a fuel tank on the drivers side before the rear axle, it looks big enough to house a second tank from an f250 or f350, i was wondering if you can use one of those truck fuel tanks as a second under body tank for my ex and by adding it and also a fuel selector valve
the only Q's i got is how do i get all the electric to work?
