Looks good Wes. What part of the country you from? Love seeing those foot hills in the background. Didn't get to make my trip to Colorado this fall...

I was raised and still live in Tehachapi Ca. It's about 45 miles east of Bakersfield. The Tehachapi valley floor is at 4000' and the surrounding mountains go up to about 7500'. Really pretty country that's fairly close to everything a person could want. The central coast of Ca is about 2 1/2 hours away, we have decent sized cities in two directions only 45 minutes away. Mammoth is 4 hours away for the winter sports and Los Angeles is only 2 hours away if I really feel the need to torture myself with traffic and the masses of humanity. If I didn't know better it would be easy to forget that I live in the communist state of Kalifornia.

i thought them there hills looked familiar wes. i am born and raised in bako, now at cal poly, but i been up that way once or twice in my life.

Thanks for all the nice posts. I woudn't want to live anywhere else in California. If I had a choice where to move, other than here it would definately be out of state. Idaho sounds nice. I feel the same way about the Excursion too. I wouldn't want to drive anything other than a PSD.
