Suspension Upgrades/brake pull
I need some advise to upgrade the ride on my 2001 ex. I was recently experiencing a hard pull under braking and assumed it was my brakes. So I replaced my front brakes with an SSBC big brake kit, new DOT 4 fluid, and SS braided brake lines.
The pull is mostly gone now but I am experiencing a sporadic pull (sometimes to the right, sometimes to the left). I have heard that my issue may be related to the tie rods, ball joints, or stabilizer bar/strut. What should I look into next? I want a more stable steering wheel going over bumps. Ideas? |

If you haven't already, it's always a good idea to check the front end for play... ball joints, tie rod ends, steering gear box, are all places the a little play in one or more of them will give you some sloppy steering. Worth checking them out...
Also wouldn't hurt to rotate your tires, see if that makes any diffrence. |
