Just going along the highway and my EX suddenly jerks...the service light comes on. We stop by auto zone..got a code of D1211. Sometimes at idle..the truck will just cut off. Anyone with a simlar problem?

sounds like cam sensor,cant remember p code for it, heres a BUMP!

i was with him and the code was P1211. mine is doing the same thing, i just put a new cam sensor on a few thousand mile. but i cant get any codes to come up. i was told but the autozone guy to take it to a dealer.

P1211-ICP Not controllable- pressure above/below desired

KOER ON-DEMAND DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) P1211

DTC P1211 indicates that injection control pressure was above or below commanded desired pressure during self test mode.
Possible causes:
incorrect oil or viscosity
poor oil quality
gel fuel/no fuel
low fuel pressure
damaged IPR valve
high-pressure oil system leak
damaged high-pressure oil pump
damaged PCM
Verify correct oil quality/viscosity and correct fuel grade are being used for the temperature conditions.

Redneckgirl is right, when did you last change your oil and fuel filter, or drain the water separator? The test for foaming oil is to run the engine at 3300 for 3 mins, while monitering ICP. Over 1250 PSI, change oil. Without a scan tool, run it under those consitions. If there is a problem, you will notice a difference if the oil is aereating.
You could have fuel dilivery problems. Pressure checks can be done before and after the lift pump.. special tools required.. The pick-up screen in the tank may be clogged. Since there are are on other DTCs indicating electrical faults, IPR and ICP circuits are not suspect.
