What batteries are you running?
It's getting cold out now and I would like to know what everyone is running? And what the CCA's are on them. I want to replace mine soon, they seem to start a little slower on cold mornings. Date code on mine are 8/10. Thanks in advance

i initially had interstates with 1000 cca. they were toast after two years. so the dealer replaced them with a pair of 850 cca under warranty. the 1000s didnt work so he thought that the "thicker plates" in the 850 would make a difference. so far, its been good, but its only been a year.

I have a pair I bought last month from a local battery shop. They are re-labled 850 CCA Dekas. So far they seem to be doing well. Had some cheap *** Sam's Club Energizers in it before that.

A few months ago I installed the Optima Red Tops #SC34U. They are smaller in size but so far so good and the will not leak. I think the are 800 or 850 CCA. They are not cheap but I can't stand the corrosion issues. When the time comes I plan to put the Yellow Tops in the Excursion.

I ran Diehard Golds in my 95 and now have them in my 04. Never had an issue.

I've had good luck with interstates batteries. I had 5 trouble free years on a set until they froze last year during a full week of bellow zero, the new set havnt missed a beat either

I had very good luck with the replacement Motorcraft batteries. I have bought them exclusively for the X since new. I use other brands in my other trucks, but have been extremely pleased with the MCs in the X.
