Should I buy? 2001 Ex Limited w/310k

Hey everyone,

First off, great community and I've learned alot about Excursions and don't own one....yet.

A good mechanic friend of mine that owns his own shop, and a former ASE Ford Mech has a friend with a 2001 Ex Limited 4x4 7.3 w/310k. The interior and leather seats are in great condition, no cracking in the leather. They have never towed with it, mom drove it to shuttle kidos. He only wants about 5-6k for it, should I snatch it up or wait for something else, it seems like a great deal for a 7.3l.

There has been no mods and the front end was rebuilt by my buddy about 3 yrs ago. This would not be a daily driver but would get a fair amount of use with 7 of us on weekends.

snatch that up NOW... well worth $5K-$6K for that, assuming the body isn't rusted to heck... Ours has around 257K, and my red truck just turned over 200k today, the mileage isn't that great of a concern, if you're willing to maintain it as needed.
