Tranny Oil

Ok Gang

I need some real goood input on this question. I have an '01 X that is naturally w/a 7.3 l PowerStroke. I have a 60 horse chip & a 4" turbo back exhaust. I changed my tranny oil at 30,000 miles. I do not tow. Right now I've got about 70k miles.

Here is my question. At what point should I change the transmission oil & filter? Should I replace it w/synthetic or dino tranny oil?

HELP?????!!!!!!!!!!

Trans filter and fluid should be changed at 30,000 miles. I prefer dexron 3 myself.

I actually changed mine at 100,000, I know I know I waited a little too long. I was fine though. I wish I had changed it sooner. It was just dark pink though. I had a 1970 F-100 that had 300,000 miles on it and never been changed. I worked the CRAP out of that truck.
