Excursion Exhaust Question

Is it worth upgrading exhaust on my 2000 psd Excursion to a 4 inch? I will have to modify the tail pipe because I have a "Pull-Rite" hitch system (trolley) that is in the way of the stock exhaust pipe.

I guess it depends. An exhaust is one of those supporting mods if you decide to chip or tune the truck. Not to say you can't do it without tuning the truck up, but its really not necessary. Although you tow by the sounds of it. I would add gauges first to see if you need the exhaust to lower your egt's.
