Need Tranny Help!!!!!!!

2000 7.3, auto tranny Ex Limited. Wife ran up onto a standing faucet and pipe. Dealer replaced part of front bumper and radiator and a few minor parts. The tranny cooler line was barely crimped and was not replaced. Since the repair, when the engine is cold and first started and the selector is put in reverse, the engine will sometimes (intermittently) surge and then Ex jumps backward. Sunday, it did it in Drive for the first time. Dealer can not pull any codes and has no clue what the problem is. Please help me out if anyone knows or even has suggestions I can pass on to the dealer. thanks.

Change the tranny line that got crimped. See if that fixes it. If not sounds like the torque converter to me.
