Picked Up My Ex yesterday!

I went down to the dmv yesterday with the previous owner to transfer title and registration. It's a 2002 Limited with 78,000 miles. Man I love this thing. I have the 7.3L in my 99 F250 so I knew I didn't want anything but diesel in an excursion. The wifes baking the second bundle of joy right now so I could almost feel the Honda Civic (our old family car) growing smaller by the day. The civic was already a challenge with only one car seat and not the ideal size if my family were to be involved in a wreck. Now I feel much more confident that we'll all be relatively safe on the road. 4x4 will come in handy too when the roads get snowy in the winter. I live in Tehachapi Ca so we only get snow a dozen times or less in the winter but when we need 4 wheel drive we need it. I often wish my 99 was 4x4. I couldn't stop grinning last night because I just kept looking back from the drivers seat at the expanse behind me. These things are truely gigantic.

Congrats on the EX, org and the new little one. My first advice is get your tow mirrors in the right setting. I had my EX no more than 5 mins and coming down the exit ramp and almost got creamed by a Semi hauling Military Equip. He was the only one coming down a 4 lane and didnt even want to move over one. Lets just say I am glad the EX had leather seats instead of cloth. Leather is eaiser to clean.
