Rear Right Power Window Up Only

Picked up a replacement power window motor assuming it was dead, lo and behold it isn't. The behavior I'm seeing is that the motor will only turn in one direction, the pigtail to the motor reverses 12V in order to move it in both directions - and I'm getting power reversing, I'm having trouble testing ground reversing as my multimeter is toast.

Can anyone help me think up a way to determine if I'm getting ground? Or if it's obvious that I'm just missing ground - should I just do a bypass ground to the switch itself? If so which cable is it?

Sorry, just moved and don't have access to any of my manuals - was just hoping for a quick fix.
