New to the Excursion world but not the 7.3l

Well I have been looking for a long long time for the right priced excursion and finally found it. It's my new wife's to be exact.

2000 7.3l 4x4 164,000 miles

I don't like the lifted look as much as the stock look.

Thanks everone!

I am working on reliablity mods and then a chip and gauges

On my 2003 I have the quadzilla commander controlling a ts performance chip, options here on what everyone is running. I love my setup but they really don't have this anymore and I have been out of the loop for awhile.

I want mpg and reliablity on the trans shift points and line pressure.

First mod is the 6.0 trans cooler

I did the AIS intake, replaced all my boots, replaced the hpop seals and oil lines. replaced the ebp sensor and cleaned the tube all at once. I gained 3 mpg on the next fill up, I knew the boots were bad but I think all combined made a difference. I changed the oil too, Im sure that helped some also. Next up is 4" exhaust. Chip will be the last thing but I really like the DP tuner.

none of that "quadzilla" crapzilla ****. Custom tunes is the way to go on our 7.3's.

I use the quadzilla commander as my monitor (egt, trans temp, oil temp, boost, fuel pressure) and control my ts performance 6 position chip. I like having one thing to do multiple jobs and keep my insides clean looking.
