Thinking about trading

I currently own a 2006 f150 XLT w/nav, backup cam, 3.5" MBRP exhaust, wet okole seat covers, shell w/ carpet kit with 78,4xx miles
I am looking at a 2001 excursion Limited 7.3L with 115,600 miles. would this be a good trade on my part

My truck

Sounds like a good trade to me... and the Ex looks just like ours!

Are the kbbs even? If so its an even trade. I'd make the seller put some cash in the deal if yours is worth more. If its worth less, just don't tell him

The X will get better fuel economy and have more torque, so just as a machine, X>F150.

As with any vehicle a through bumper to bumper inspection is a must. If everything checks out make it happen. Good luck.

+1, sounds like a good deal. Great amount of miles for that year.

KBB is horse**** and doesn't reflect market value for diesels. KBB is a dealers gimmick.

In my opinion, if he trades you straight even for that f150, you are robbing him blind. Diesel Excursions sell for 20-30k around here. 2006 f150's sell for 8-15k. if he'll do it, jump on it.
