'00 Upgrade

Well -- this is probably minor stuff for most of you but I have an '00 Excursion with a 7.3 PSD -- I bought it new -- now has about 70K miles. I tow a 10,000 pound Airstream travel trailer. I always had brake rotor warp problems and bounce after a dip in the road. Finally put PowerSlot rotors, Hawk pads and Edlebrock shocks on it. Took a trip towing the trailer through the mountains -- what a difference! Stops better and doesn't move over a lane after one of those dips in the interstate.

yup the Powerslot/ Hawk combo works great.... esp if you buy Cryo Frozen rotors... they are way harder than the regular Powerslot rotors so they wont warp as easily if any....

Great -- even after a while -- without towing -- the truck rides much better with the Edlebrocks and stopping is soooo smooth and better. Well worth the money. Should have done it a long time ago.

What does a set for the front brakes cost for everything... both cryo rotors and the hawks pads?? just curious the round about price range....
