Guage mount

What is the best fitting A pillar guage mount? Does the one for the super duty fit the excursion?

Same as the Super Duties. I picked mine up on ebay from glowshift, color match is pretty good and the fit is decent.

One thing I would prefer is an a-pillar replacement instead of something you have to screw over the factory pillar trim but I'm cheap so didn't go that route.

My Autometer quad gage pillar fit just fine. It's all about how well you fit the new to the old with the plastic rivets. Make it tight with no gaps around the edges and you can hardly tell.

One piece of advice is to drill and install the rivets as close to the edge as you can. This will help the rubber trim piece cover them. Mine only covers half of the rivet. Not a big deal but it bugs me that I didn't see that coming and plan for it.
