Trying to figure out what this is....
So newbie here...just bought this 2000 Monday...today I notice this plug was unplugged. My buddy has an 99 f350...he had no clue. ANYONE? Driving us crazy ....found a number on it..searched on the net..came up a color code something. thanks!

It's a vacuum solenoid by the looks of it, follow the tubes, and see what it controls
|

So I guess it should be plugged up..ahahaha I snapped it back on..havent driven it since. We will see in the am...thanks for the replies..I will slide by the dealership to see what they think. It drove ok before I noticed it...why would someone unplug it ya think?

It is something in relation to the vacum system. Sometines when vehicles are taken in repairs, the mechanic or tech has a lot of things to reconnect and in your case it might have been forgotten. Happened to me on my A/C. But if you start having blow fuses, that connection could be the culprit.

Aahhhh I see now...thanks! I did have an issues with a fuse. Its connected so it should be good now. Thanks for serving our country too!
