Newbie what is manuf. of stock tv?

so I've been searching for hours on what kind of tv is in my x and how to turn it on. i know it sounds like a stupid question but i just bought it and the guy won't anwser my calls now. i have a 2001 x with the stock tv and vcr. there is a remote for the vcr and it turns on and plays but i don't know how to turn on the tv. maybe its broken but there is a red light by it that is on. is there another remote for it and if so who is the manufacturer of the tv so i can buy a new one or a place where i can buy a new tv that will fit in stock location so i don't have to modify anything. i also have a tv up front that i could connect to so they both play at the same time. thanks and if anyone has any suggestions please help!!!

When I bought my ex the tv didn't work... I took it by a guy I know that does electronic work and he found that the ribbon where the tv swivels down was broken... he ordered a new one and I put it in. I believe he said it was an audiovox.

I just switch it over on the headunit and turn the vcr power on and it works for me, I would have to look for the remote. I would like to switch to a dvd unit but I don't use it much at all so I will prob leave it alone...

Ok that might be my problem. It has an aftermarket head unit. Maybe there needs to be a switch so it sends signal to the tv letting it know turn on. I guess now I need to find out what wires r for it. If anyone has a diagram for it or knows a site, I would appreciate it. Thanks for the help!
