Suspension question

How can I tell if my springs were replaced some time?

Is there a part number on them that may lead me to know if they were upgraded?

I am looking to add the RAS to my truck for an occasional pull of about 11K trailer. I understand that the EXs were not made for heavy duty hauling like the pick ups were. Especially when loading the rear springs. Yesterday when my 25' center console boat was hooked up, my neighbor, father in law and myself climbed on the bumper and/or the tongue of the boat trailer to put weight on the rear springs. The thing barely moved if any. Jumping up and down did nothing.

I just don't know if something has been done already to this truck that the previous owner did not realize from their purchase.

Thanks in advance,
Mike

I sure will as soon as I can get under the truck to get a picture. My 17 year old has been driving it daily for band camp due to his bug tranny being down and out. The weather has also been very uncooperative.

Thaks for your help

Mike
