Ready to buy chip and gauges

So I am surfing the interwebz today. I found a site that is selling 6 position TS chips for 299 for the 7.3L. I honestly don't know much about all the chip tunes out there. Is the TS chip a good one or would you say a TW would be a better option? I am going to be doing gauges too. so pyro, trans temp, boost. Should I add one more? Thanks just trying to figure this all out so I only do it once.

OH my X is my work truck, and tow rig so after the chip goes on I am done! Well so I say ahahhhaha

Thanks for all the help

TW, Beans, PHP are all TS chips, and I'm sure it will work fine for ya.

BUT, it's all about the TUNES you put on the chip.

I'm lovin my PHP tunes, it makes the truck a whole other animal!

Well on the TS chip it says it is already programed to go. I guess I can call them and make sure I get what I want. I think I just have to do it now and get it over with.

What I find funny is the digital read out on the truck is telling me I am losing mileage after I cut my exhaust and my DYI intake LOL. I didn't know that was possible. Not that it really matters since my hand calculated is 17.2. So I will call them and see if that is just the chip blank or tuned. If it is just blank I will go to TW. Thanks for the input

It's probably tuned, but I'm guessing generic tunes.

If you post who is selling the chip, you may get some feedback from people who tried them.

I know my PHP chip was $420 shipped w/6 tunes, and I think TW is only a little more than that.

The chip would be coming from extreme diesel. Thinking about it I think I would be better of going to TW for a extra 125 bucks.

TS Performance 7.3L Powerstroke Chip (Single Position)

This one? They are a sponcer here, BUT It's a 1 postion chip.

I would definately go with at least 4 positions, and 6 seems to be the most common.... A tune for everything pretty much rocks, lol!

I used 2 positions today, (3 including stock) I have 1: Stock, 2:80hp DD, 3: 100hp Perf, 4: 120hp Race, 5: 65hp Mod Tow, and 6: 40hp Heavy Tow.

I pretty much always run it on 80hp, but when I pass or "play" I crank it up to 100 or 120. 120 = ...... I LOVE it!
