ex receiver hitch?

Tons of slop in my receiver hitch. The mouth seems stretched. Any idea for a replacement? Can't seem to find a manufacturer that has them as a standard item. I remember a conversation about the stock receiver being pinned in (or something). What is the best process for removal?

Sounds like you have a class V hitch that's 2 1/2 inches. They make an adaptor that goes from 2 1/2 in to 2 in. Tractor Supply carries them, about $15 or so.

Don't think so. That would be a huge gap. It isn't that drastic. I can get .060 to .080 shims (washers) all the way around the mouth end of the receiver when I have the ball mount installed. It does snug up at the back. There is so much movement that the holes for the cross pin are ovaling.
