Just bought my first powerstroke!

I just bought a 00ex xlt lariat for 6500 bucks!

Truck is clean needs a little work but nothing I can't handle (mechanic, drive powerstroke diesel tow trucks) But for the price I couldn't pass it up.

Looking forward to asking questions and stuff since I have never owned a diesel that I want to mess with lol. She will be my tow rig along with work rig. Glad to be here pics to come.

edit-- Where do you guys go for glow plugs and which ones? Remember I am coming from offroading jeeps so if you need help there let me know lol!

It has 240k on it- yea ohh well lol. Only issue I truly need to figure out is the short in the column. If I push the overdrive button it blows the number 10 fuse. So I don't push it lol. I just need to get under and trace those wires and fix it.

3 owners I have the carfax on it. There a recall that needs to be done I don't have all the info on the truck for that. I am bringing her home thursday mornin for a wash and wax lol. Ohh and a glow plug needs to be replaced. That is going to suck.

Go with any, should be able to find em for under $10. Check site sponsors, I don't remember which, but I know there are a couple that carry them.

The shorted wiring is in the shifter,it's the two wires that go up the shifter in to the overdrive switch. It's a commen problem you have to replace the shifter.They cost around $70.00 you have to pull the ignition out to replace it. very simple 20min job.

I worked on it for the shifter issue. I can not get it to put the truck in limp mode or coast mode. The Fuse doesn't blow like the guy told me.
