BD triple dog GT

I have an 02 Ex and will be ordering a programmer in the very near future, but want to be sure I'm getting the right one.

My Ex is my daily driver and is used on the weekends for hunting and mild off-roading. I also spend a lot of time on the highway, so I'm looking to gain more mileage.

I've been reading a lot about the Edge Evo2 and the BD Triple Dog GT. Both have want I want...programmer and monitor.

I'd like to hear from the guys running the Bully Dog and get their opinions as I've read every post there is about the Edge.

Thanks guys!

Their is only programmer to get for a 6.0...SCT with custom tunes from a tuner of your choice.

But best choice IMO is a TS chip with custom tunes...TW is my choice.

I had an SCT Livewire in my 04 6.0 and didn't care for it...was very obtrusive on the window.

If you're saying the SCT is best for a 6.0, what do you think for a 7.3 since that's my current powerplant?

I personally have a BDGT for a gas engine, non-Ford. I have been very pleased with the product and plan on getting one for my 7.3 psd. I think it really comes down to preference. I previously own an '02 F350 with a Hypertech. It seemed to work ok, although updates were a PITA to get (you had to send the programming unit to them). The BDGT can plug into a computer, Mac or PC, and download the newest/latest programming from BD. Their support also seems to be pretty decent as well. I personally like the output screen from the BDGT. You gain a lot more statistics from your engine as compared to the analog gauges that come with the Ex.

So, like I said..personal preference. I have had a really good experience with BDGT.
