AFE Intake Questions....

Can anyone tell me the difference between these two intakes? Can't find any propaganda to help me figure it out...

http://www.xtremediesel.com/afestage...m_5410062.aspx

AFE Stage 2 Cold Air Intake System Type XP 54-10192

I'll be ordering one after the tax man gets my money from the IRS...and really want to know which one would be better.

My 02 Excursion is my daily driver and have no intentions of ever racing it or doing anything "over the top." The intended uses are hunting, towing and highway driving...

Thanks in advance for your help.

Afe claims 35hp more and a bunch more air flow, and a battery holder for the radial filter...and $120 more!!! The first one would be my choice.

I have the AFE Stage 2 w/ a Pro 7 filter ( the finer filtering) and I'm very happy with it. Bought it from Alligator Diesel Performance at discount. I wantd as cool as possible air and the volume and larger hodd seal helps wiht that.

You will defintely hear the air rush in as well as the Waste Gate when it opens. It's a bit disconcerning for those who don't know what the noise represents.
