Help- Fix for window creeking and power mirrors

I bought a 2000 Excursion a couple weeks ago and Im trying to get all of the bugs worked out of it. Overall its in decent condition but the previous owner must not have been into doing repairs. The front doors have a loud creeking noise when the window goes up or down. I was told to lube the guides with white lithium grease. I did that and the noise is still there, sprayed some siicone lube spray on the coil spring on the regulator and the noise changed ( it is not as consistant but when it does make the noise it is louder than before). I also have an issue with my power mirrors. I thought I would replace the control switch but when I opened up the door panel the old switch wasnt even plugged in. Plugged in both new and old switches and no mirror movement. It has 12 volts to the switch. Any ideas?
