may be buying an ex

hi there couple questions im selling my 2000 cclb dually 6 speed and thinking about buying an ex possibly. my question is are they much different than the trucks or basically the same? anything ex specific i should be looking for? how are the year 2000's? thanks in advance guys

I have a 2000 Ex..... Love it........pretty much the same as a truck ........all the exact same problems 7.3 L trucks have .........major difference is springs......Ford made them too light and soft for ride quality......problem is they sag ......need to replace them with truck springs and add rear sway bar.....lots of threads on that.......also steer axle is Dana 50 instead of Dana 60.....like F350 has.....never heard of anyone breaking one though ......think some F250's used it also......had to do ball joints at 75k.......also hard to keep the brake rotors from warping without spending a fortune on big $ ones........would imagine trucks have that problem also ??

yeah i have an exhaust brake on my truck now and ill tell you what its worth the money for sure cheap pads and rotors last forever on my truck
