New to me Ex

Hey guys I have been looking for an Excursion for awhile now and finally put a deposit down on a 2000 4X4 Limited with the 7.3 and 156,000 miles on it. Hope to have it by next weekend. Been doing a lot of reading here and lots of good info here.

I have already emailed Cary about the suspension upgrades.

Anyone replace there carpet yet and can recommend a place to get it. The carpet looks a little rough in it.

How about putting a double din radio in it. Any good write ups on it. Are the dashboards in the trucks the same as ours?

Been looking for carpet also. About the only place I have found is auto custom carpets and they want 450.00 for a complete carpet kit. On the radio..do a search. From what I have seen it doesn't take much modification to make a double din radio fit...

Sweet, same color Ex as mine!
For the carpet: I ripped mine out and put in vinyl flooring from here. I love the vinyl, if it gets dirty just hose it off.
For the double DIN: if you pull out the stock radio, you'll see a little lip on the top of the opening in the dash...you'll need to dremel that down for the new head-unit to fit.
