2000-2003 Vs 2004-2005

This isn't about 7.3 Vs 6.0, transmissions, or anything with the power train.

Can someone go into detail about what exterior/interior differences exist between the two generations, and what needs to be done to convert to the newer generation.

Here is an example. First generation seems to usually have a chrome front and rear bumper. The cut also appears slightly different. Another thing is the molding. I've read somewhere that the molding on the first generation can be removed. Does the 2nd generation not have molding or does it simply match the color of the rest of the exterior?

First Gen.

Second Gen.

As far as ex's go other than engine and trans differences there is no difference between a first and second gen ex. The bumpers and stuff just depend on what package you order it with
