01 X axle question

Needing a new front axle for my truck... anyone have any ideas if one from a 99' s/d should work? They were both dana 50's i presume? can get my hands on one pretty soon and start building it... Thanks in advance guys..

Should work fine. Same axles as the SD truck. But I would hold out and see if you can find a D60 from an 02 up truck

yup it will work... but if you can find one from a 05+ you could bolt up a 4 link kit

The 05 axles are different lengths than the 99-04s. It would require wheel spacers and a swap of both front and rear axles unless you wanted to buy two different sizes of rims

Couldnt afford another gear job.... as it is ill be stuck running without axle shafts..

I will be pulling both axles from my '04 but not for awhile...2-3 months if interested..about 65k miles
