ok, so get the X out of the shop yesterday with a new tranny in her... since this is the first time the tranny actually held everything and my first day in town with it naturally i drove around and showed it off to everyone... But still hadnt put my foot in it yet...

So i go meet a few friends at a bar.... grab a burger and hang out for a few... well we go to leave, and my buddy with an 06 dmax and edge stomps it, so im think ok whatever lets see what shes got (keep in mind this x is on 40's, 4.30 gears, and neither raul nor i have any idea WTF has been done to this thing)... needless to say smoke went a flyin and the boost gauge instantly pegged at 35 ???? btw i caught and passed the dmax....

BUT WTF!?!?! guess its time for a 60lb boost gauge.... and some investigating...

i think this is more less a WTF more then a kill..... but im weary if the truck doesnt have studs and what not i mean how much is actually safe?

Nice suprise! Be easy with her until you know what all is done. Last thing you want is it to be back in the shop with blown HG's. And get those darn traction bars installed!!!

DId you do any diggin and find out anything else about it?

Far as i was told raul never put it in.... its still a blank sitting on his desk at the house waiting on me to make up my mind... never could get with TW since his issues with his daughter...

Plus ZERO smoke.... idk well see... But i need to behave until i put the traction bars on...

Only digging i did was ball joints steering and bearings.... gonna get another front axle and start building it since i have some issues with this one... ill explain this weekend...
