Get a test light or meter and you can test that way...you are just going to run the wire down the pillar to the switch right?

yes both dealers here wanted 90 bucks for the harness since mine has the compass thing and i said screw that just going to tap in to the switch just as easy and saves me a hundred bucks

I did a small write up but no pics, it's easy to install but run the wire down the driver side pillar then tap into the harness on the headlight switch, for the parking lights, I tested every damn wire on the overhead and the passenger kick panel.
