is it worth 14.5?

I am thinking of picking up this vehicle... do you all think its worth 14.5K? Guy started at 15.9K but said his pay off is 14.5 and that is as low as he will go.

7.3L diesel with no issues. 6" lift... tires have 1300 miles on them. Guy said car performs flawlessly and I can bring a diesel tech with me to inspect the vehicle.

I concur... that is a lot of miles but the general consensus on here seemed to say I shouldn't worry about miles.

This is basically exactly what I'm looking for... lifted, clean, either red/black/or green. If you think I should be able to find a cheaper one of better quality then please let me know... I have other vehicles currently and am in no rush.

miles are kinda high for the price, i wouldnt pay over $12,000 if it drove perfect, steering and transmission working fine too, so check into it

pretty clean...14.5 seems kinda on the upper end but it depends on where you live too. first thing to go would need to be that front bumper.... i could take it off your hands!

i looked for a month and i dont think your gonna beat that price by much......look at ebay and see what they are finaling out for. You cant go by kbb or nada on these cause they are not selling for that. i went 11.5 on mine and jumped cause it was WAY cheap but have had to put some money back into it and need to do some interior cleaning. You might be waiting awhile to find a clean lifted 7.3 4x4 for 12k imo

Maybe a little high, but it is nice. If he has service records or anything that would help justify the price it may be good deal for ya. Any signs of any mods or anything other than the lift?

If the guy can prove all the service and repairs on it I dont think tis that bad a price. ive seen worse ones for close to that price. Little on the high end but not ridiculously so.
That said I would take CASH with you. Keep it in the truck locked up and then offer him 13 500 for it. Tell him CASH right now. if he says no hes a moron. walk away. Tell him to call you when he changes him mind but dont wait too long.

I picked up my 01 limited for 14k. It had 45k on it. A leveling kit, 18" wheels with 33's a programmer, turboback exhaust, and intake. The interior was flawless and the exterior was a 9/10. I paid because of the mileage and we all know how long the 7.3 will last with proper maintainence.
