door sensors

Any body have issues with the door sensors on the 01's. I have a real annoying door ajar light and the dome's won't go off until I drive for a minute. Also my alarm went off last night at 1130, all doors were shut and locked. I have looked a couple times, but how do these sensors work. On all my other trucks, they are a little push-button that sticks out near the hinge. Can't seem to find them on this truck, how do they work. I'm almost positive it's the drivers rear door that is the culprit.

Thanks.

The switches are recessed in the door latches. I bought a truck a few weeks ago that had the same problems you are describing. A few squirts of PB Blaster in all of the latches and the problems are gone...

Funny it was my driver side rear door that was the culprit as well. I went to a drive in and couldnt get my interior ligths to go off.. man was i hot.

A little WD fixed it right up.
