HELP NEEDED ASAP!!!

I currently have a 2003 Yukon Denali and I will be parting ways with it for an Excursion.

I have come across locally a 2003 Excursion Limited 2WD with the 7.3 engine. It has 185000 miles. I am getting what I think is a good deal at 13000.

Is this a good deal??? The only mods that he has done is a chip and a cold air intake. I will be using this for daily driving and pulling my Grady White. I was VERY shocked at the power this thing has!!!!

I want to pull the trigger tomorrow on this thing but I want to feel like I am getting a good deal. HELP!

You can email me direct at stephendudra@Yahoo.com or through here.

Thanks!!!

There will be other costs

I was in a similar postion several months ago and looked long and hard for a low mileage EX. I found an '02 w/ 135k on it.

At 185K you should be prepared to spend some money on initial Maintenance. Look for possible need of:

1) Ball joints
2) Springs (front at a minimum - oringals sag and are really worn out quickly)
3) Schocks
4) Rear Sway bar (it it does not have one)
5) Front end alignment
6) Complete fluids change (Engine, Trans, Rear Dif)

If the seller has maintenace records it would help in the decision proces. That's a lot of miles for an '03 The 7.3L is almost bullet proof and I have read of 350,000 miles plus on a properly maintaned engine.
