What factory steering wheel?

I am looking to swap out my steering wheel because I don't like the two leg design on the 2000 X, anyone know if these wheels are interchangable with the F-250's? The cruise control and airbag will still function?

You have to disconnect the battery and let the truck sit for about 15mins. The airbag has a cell the holds power for the airbag. If you let it sit to loses charge. Then there are 2 screws on the backside you need to remove to pull out the airbag. Pull the airbag out and disconnect the wires. Place the air back on a flat surface away from you. Then there will be a plastic clock spring you will have to take out. Becareful I broke mine taking it out and there about 60 bucks new at the dealership. Now you should see a large nut that is holding your steering wheel on. Its I think something like a 15mm. You take the off and you will need a steering wheel puller to get the wheel off once you get the nut off. I did mine about a year ago. Im no master mechanic, but thats how i did it.

What steering wheel did you go with? I want a 4 spoke wheel instead of the two spoke but I want to have an airbag and I want to still be able to use my cruise control

I actaully didn't know that there were different style mines just the 2 spoke stock one. I took mine apart because nothing on my wheel worked and my airbag light was on. Come to find out it was the clock spring

Oh ok well I guess I'll take mine off one day to check the connectors and splines on the wheel and go junkyard hunting
