Steering gear box questions

I am going to replace my steering gear box and power steering pump on monday but I need to know if my gear box has a 32 spline or 36 spline for a 2000, does anyone know?

I'm thinking that it's gonna be a 36 spline. The reason I say this is that when I switched suspensions 2 weeks ago, the guy's truck that my new suspension came off of had a 36 spline and his truck's an '01. My truck has a 32 spline but it's an early '99

Hmm alright, thanks for the help, just wanted to know which one because the two different gear boxs are at two different parts stores and of course the 36 spline is about $40 more, i'm gunna take it apart tonight so tomorrow morning I can just run out and get the parts

Ok I have removed the power steering pump and the steering gear box, it is a 36 spline so my local parts store carries it. The steering gear box still has the pitman arm stuck to it and I know my gear box is bad because I can't even get the pitman arm to turn on the box, I even smacked it with a small sledge hammer and it didn't budge so I know my steering pump was working overtime
