5 inch exhaust?

is it possible to fit a 5" exhaust on a 7.3 excursion ... i know its tough to fit the 4" dp ... or so ive heard ... but will the actual 5" exhaust fit the whole way back? .. ne1 done it .. i dont wanna buy it and figure out im skrewed so figured id ask first

I just installed a 4" tbe, my trans dipstick is pressing against the downpipe, very little room in there, also gets kinda close at the fuel tank, possible if you have a mandrel bender for 5" and alot of time!!! But it would be a custom application, only 4"-5" kits I've seen

No 5" kit will fit on a Excursion. You might be able to find a place to make you one, but the rear is very tight.


Just get a 4" kit and add a tip. There is nothing to gain going to a 5" kit.

i like the deeper tone of the five inch ... just sounds a lot nicer imo
