Door Ajar light stuck on!!!!

Hey guys I'm about to buy this 2000 limited 4x 7.3 ex but the door ajar light is stuck on and I checked all the doors, where is the switches located for these damn things?

Inside the door where the latch hooks.

The easiest fix is to just spray some wd-40 into the latch area on the door (again, where it actually hooks) and then open and close the door a few times. You'll have to do it on all the doors unless you know which one is the problem.

I have to do this about every 6 months or so.

Very good advice, I have found this to work many times in the past.

One other tip, don't forget the back door... that can sometimes be the problem but is easily overlooked.

On the back door, do all three latches have a sensor or just the top glass

When my light is on it has always been the back door.

The back door has been the problem more times then not, but I've also had other doors cause the problem too.

thanks for the tip. did this today. worked perfect. now i just have to figure why all the ele door locks dont fully work
