Please advise

Here is a basic outline of me. I'm 23 and want an excursion because I love big vehicles. Would love to step into the world of diesel power. It would be my daily driver (which doesn't see many miles anyhow).

Towing: will tow my 19 foot trailer with my race car every now and then (not heavy, my ranger towes it with no problems).

Anywho, moving up near jersey in a year so I want 4WD. I keep hearing how reliable this is compared to that.

Mods: plan on lifting 6 inches or so and adding bigger rims/tires. Maybe if I get bored with it, engine mods and bigger turbo.

I personally don't care about the motor size, though I did want a newer low miles X. I was going to go chevy burban but the X is bigger. But I don't want to deal with head aches.

I ALWAYS properly maintain all of
my vehicles.

Which vehile would be best for me to go with. A 7.3 X or a 6.0? I'm not doing crazy hauling or cross country tours. Will possibly build it to make it quicker.

The 6.0s are really that big of a head ache? I don't mind dropping 5K when I buy it to make it as reliable.

Are there any major interior differences in the 7.3 years to the 6.0?

I have a 7.3 02 and love it, no probs after years of service. I know the 6.0's are faster, but the 7.3 has been rock solid for me.
The interiors arent that much diff between the years, great trucks I recomend getting one.
