Slip fit? wheel hub

I'm trying to pull the wheel bearing hub from the front of an '03 Exc. Ford says it's a "slip fit". I have the snap ring off and have tried a large pulley puller, but this think acts like it's rusted on.

Am I missing something? Anyone experienced this?

Got it off. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something before I brought out the bigger hammer.

Thanks.

It's called a "unit bearing" and not serviceable just so you know. I know you have it off but here is my method since I live in the great white north, home of the snow, and land of rust.

1. First pull the snap ring from the axle and the 4 nuts inside the knuckle.

2. Gently bend the tab that covers the wheel speed sensor up and remove the sensor.

3. There is a spot behind that where the dust cover makes a void between the flange and the knuckle that I tap a small chisel into that gets it started.

4. Once it’s started I move the chisel down one way, then the other to pry it out as straight as I can.

When I install I clean all the rust and grease the heck out of the stud holes with white lithium grease so they don’t rust up and stick again for next time.

Ok, I know there are other post. But my auto hubs, lock some times and other not. If if mess with the defrost they will lock in 4 out of 5 times. Is it the oring on the hub or other issue.
