Seat heater inop

Driver's side is inop.......how can I fix this ? what does it take ? The wife needs it .......she says

haha check the fuse first and if its blown and keeps popping then ur heater is fried,u mite be lucky and jus need to replace the fuse

Thanks ...already know it's not the fuse......fuse is good.....never blows.....switch lights up when turned on ........but no heat output

Likely the element is bad, I went to Ford and after I picked my jaw off the ground picked one up from LMC truck and made it work.

That was it.......pulled back the cover an the wire was burnt in two just like it said.....crunchy and burnt..... I repaired the jumper with a 14 guage wire and the seat heater is back in service

Anybody come across a seat switch that lights up and turns off right away?I was told bottom heater and I plugged the new one in without taking the seat apart and same thing.Then plugged back in and and unplugged the back and still the same.Any ideas?

Try swapping the control module from the other seat and see if it still does it. It's right under the front....small black box
