Where to mount a brake controller?

So I just purchased this 03 7.3l Ex. I need to mount a brake controller in it, and would like to do it without drilling holes in the dash. Anyone come up with a trick way to do that? Found the factory wiring harness never opened in the center console for the controller

Took these photos with my cell phone, usually does better than this.

Here she is with the old Suburban she is replacing.

Got to the race track, unhitched the trailer and noticed the guy from Carson two pits over has a twin...

Nice truck! I don't think you will get away with not drilling any holes. I put mine in the fuse cover as you can see in this picture. I can get a better picture if you want.

I put mine under the little pocket in the dash, right where the cb is in the above post. My cb is under the ashtray.

Thanks for the help. Hadn't thought about putting my CB in it.

What is the black unit attached to the CB? It's not an amplifier for the CB is it?

I mounted mine down at the bottom of the dash, below that catch-all slot. The trucks controller plug is right behind there. Convenient for me to get to.

I've seen someone cut the trash bag holder up and make an insert there for the brake controller. Looked like a pretty slick setup. Personally, I don't haul trailers too often. So I just pull my cup holder out and set the controller in the hole. Worked out, threw the cup holder back in, and all is good now. No holes.

Thats where mine is..

How does that police scanner work out for you. You can just hear what they are saying like a regular house hold scanner?
