Trans upgrade

I bought an 01 X about three weeks ago.

Here's a list of whats done so far.

AFE stage 2 intake
Magnaflow 4" exhaust
Intake heater delete
Gauges
Hughes trans pan
6.0L trans cooler
Edge evolution
TS 6 position

6" fabtech lift(going on tomorrow) MAzzi 17's (tires in the next couple of days)


Next I want to do a 6.0L intercooler


My question is what if anything should I get to help out the trans.I saw something about custom acumulators or shift kits. Whats the deal?

How many miles? How are you planning to use your X? Tow, race? Mine went out at around 120,000. I tried a shift kit before it went out. It appears that damage was already done the shift kit just helped finish it off. I upgraded tanny and torque converter. Definite must if you're building some power.

126K on the odometer. Ill be hauling a demo vehicle for my store and DDing. I have an evolution on it now and Im wating on mt TS to come bck from being redone.

I was planning on puttng a Trans filter on it to help. What is the interval for changing them?
