you dont even need the fuel heater , if its running drive it , you cant just buy the heater have to buy the whole fuel filter housing assembly , its 500.00 , drive it

well ive still got a problem with this...so i bit the bullet and took it to the dealer, they told me my chip went bad and has possibly damaged my pcm...took out the chip and it runs...but less power...but dont know if its actually fixed cause it would run for a day and next morning it would have noo wait to start light and wouldnt start...try it in the evening and it would work again...so after taking out the chip have to just drive it and see if it messes up again..they also told me i have 3 weak injecters...but i ran a test with a solus OBD II and it checked the injecters and they tested fine...anyone have any suggestions as to what chip i should get to replace the bad one???

help my truck is doing the same, but i disconnected the fuel heater, checked all fuses and relays, still no wait to start light...the PCM is warm and the truck is not even running. I disconnected all 5v sensors and still nothing, preadator wont recognize truck, truck has 468000 miles, is it tome for a new PCM? if so is my program that was in the old PCM lost?

well i bought a programmer rather than a chip and i gotta tell ya i did something right, truck runs hella better than it did when i bought it...smartchips 1705...no more pcm issues.....if your truck has this same issue take chip out and drive it to get a new one...if its programmed and its bad...you may need a new pcm..or try taking the programmer and reverting program to stock...
